Our church staff meeting on French TV?

We had something unusual at our church staff meeting today: 2 people from the ARTE TV station filming and recording it. They were both at church this past Sunday filming the service. They are doing some type of story on our church that will be on one of the main TV stations in France in the future. Pastor Serge will view their story before they air it, which is a good precaution against a negatively biased story.

Serge ended up sitting right next to me. I didn't know it, but he had a microphone on as well during the whole meeting. Hopefully some of my side comments that I made didn't get on their recording.



During today's meeting, they filmed 2 powerful testimonies. Serge told of how God reached out to him when he was a drug-dealing young man who was imprisoned in Martinique. Martine, a high school teacher and member of our church, told of how God healed her of a brain tumor earlier this year. Boy, did we have some spontaneous prayers of worship and adoration to God after these 2 back-to-back testimonies. It was a good reminder that it's all about God and not about us in the end.
