This morning we continued our weekly tradition of going to the
Cours Bébé Nageur (Baby Swim class). This is our son's 3rd year of doing this and our daughter's 2nd. The pool we go to is just a 5 minute walk from our place. It's actually more like a big bath tub than a pool, as it's heated for the babies and is not very deep. Our kids have taken well to it and are like little fish now. It's a nice outlet for their parents as well. :-)
We've also met some very interesting people there from around the world. Having 4 more Americans there just adds more variety to the salad. We're getting to know a boy named Fabien whose mother is Japanese and father is Italian.

Tonight we had the 6 members of the Youth With a Mission team that is currently serving our church as part of their discipleship training program. The 6 of them all hail from North America. While some YWAM teams aren't necessarily young in age, this one is. They are all between 18 and 23. We continued our ministry of feeding starving youth ministry teams passing through Paris. We enjoyed crêpes: salty, dinner ones with ham and cheese for the main course, followed by a salad, then sweet, dessert crêpes with chocolate, blueberry or strawberry jelly along with vanilla and chocolate ice cream and whipped cream. We have a machine that makes 6 mini-crêpes at a time.
It was energizing for us to have them with us. It's great to be able to encourage the next generation of workers by opening our home to them. We get much blessing back in return for what it costs us in time, work, and crepe batter.
Another surprise blessings was having two of the young ladies have volunteered to help watch the children at Nicole's women's group tomorrow morning.
