Family outings

We've had lots of family time together today, as well as gotten lots of work done.

This morning we went to our church for a clothing exchange with the name Armoires de Salomon. For the last 3 or 4 years, this has been organized every 2-4 months by some of the church women. It is a great service to young families like ourselves, as kids clothes are expensive. It's also a way to reach out into our neighborhood.

The ministry Quartier Libre had activities going to occupy the kids while the mothers looked a clothes. Both our kids did really well there and enjoyed being with their adopted Aunt Alayne and big brother Christian. 4 of the women from my wife's women's group were there, so it was a good networking time for her.

After some long siestas this afternoon, we went to Paramount Aquarium and bought a new home for our 2 goldfish. They now reside in a lighted 22 litre aquarium with 2 plants and lots of air bubbles. We put the aquarium in the kids' room. Everyone, including the fish, seem to be happy with their current residence.
