Crepe Lunch with New Vision team

We enjoyed having the team from New Vision Baptist Church for lunch of crêpes today. We usually do this the last night of a team's project, but there already is a meal going then. Since they leave for the airport at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow, this was the best option.

As usual, everyone seemed to eat well and enjoy making them. We had 15 of them, as well as my wife and children, so it was a full house. But it was nice to have it during the day so the kids could participate in it. Our son ate his first crêpe today while on his school lunch break.

I wonder how our kids experience the coming and going of different people and places in our lives. There probably is stuff written about this in developmental psychology books. They seemed to really like this team and vice versa. Our 4 year old came home after school and said "friends," in referring to them. Our kids are blessed to have friends from around the world that love them. But I wonder if they feel sad about suddenly not seeing someone again.
