Labor Day in France

Today (May 1) was "La Fête de Travail" or "Labor Day" in France. While many stores remain open on holidays, I was glad that most were closed today, as this gave their employees the day off.

I worked on rearranging some clothes in drawers and getting rid of some others. It's been helpful having Brianna here last week and this week, as it's freed my wife and I up for some projects around the apartment.

Our friends Charles and Magali came over this afternoon. We hadn't seen them in over 3 months, so it was good to have the time to get together. At this stage of life, there are many people here whom we would like to see more often, but it takes so much time and energy to get out the door with 3 kids.
