Full speed in Paris

This is one of my busiest weekends of the year. Fortunately, they aren't all like this, as it would be impossible to maintain the pace without blowing a gasket somewhere.

The 15 member team from New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee has been a huge help and blessing. They worked very hard on Thursday and Friday to help get the church looking like a quality art museum. 6 of them (Lameese, Paulette, Heather, Talia, Heather, and Michael) have served my family and me in our apartment so that my wife could accompany my son on a school field trip yesterday morning and that my wife and I could make a appointment at school this morning with the school counselor, Madame Gorry. She's been a helpful sounding board to us in trying to help our son adjust to his first year in school. Sadly, she won't be at the school next year. She said that the area that he needs to improve on the most is in the socialization area. Otherwise, he's doing fine physically and academically.

The opening ceremony and first night's concert yesterday both went well. The church and its offices looked great.

Got to close, as our son just woke up. I don't want to neglect my family too much this week. But our family is blessed by the interaction with brothers and sisters like those from New Vision.
