Start of next short-term project

Today Trisha arrived here from Athens, Georgia via New York JFK to Paris. She's staying with us until the other 7 members of the team arrive this coming Saturday. The kids have already warmed up to her, which isn't surprising. Unfortunately, the suitcase containing the things that we ordered is temporarily lost and will hopefully arrive tomorrow.

This team will be helping renovate the 2 toilets in a courtyard near le pavé d'Orsay, the arts center of la Fonderie. It has some men who have or still work in the area of construction,

Our 2 older kids did very well at swimming at school today. Our son went the whole session without any arm floaters and did lots of jumping into the water and dog paddling. Because he is strong, he is able eventually get to the edge of the pool, even without a good swimming technique yet. When I recall that he was just a baby when he started swimming classes in the same pool where we swam today, I'm amazed at his swimming progress.
