Countdown: 10 days to go

We're in full preparation for our 2 month summer Home Ministry Assignment in the U.S. Today my wife got far in sorting and packing clothes for 2 of our 3 kids. I finally completed and mailed off our French income tax forms for 2006.

The schedule seems to be gaining more clarity this week. One activity in a number of different churches that we'll be visiting is Vacation Bible Schools (VBS, for short). Our kids will tentatively participate in 2 full VBS programs, as well as in 2 others ones for 1 or more days. We hope that our kids connect with some of the different kids whom them meet. We hope to connect with these kids, as well as their parents and those helping lead the VBS programs.

One project that I need to push ahead on is the development of at least one video and perhaps several different short ones. Part of the challenge is because our ministry is currently in two different directions: ministry to artists, primarily through la fonderie, as well as neighborhood relational development and outreach. While the latter is hard to define or put into a box, it is definitely happening these days.
