Smoking computer today
I've been up since 5:00 a.m. working on the computer. This week is a time of mass e-mailings. Yesterday I finished a mailing for Mission Radicale's April 16 event. Many of the addresses were no longer valid, so I had to clean up a lot of them from the list.
Yesterday afternoon I was at a planning meeting for La Fonderie, an arts ministry begun by Jim Beise in Paris. Six of us meet in a smoke-filled café. It became apparent that it would be helpful to send publicity to a wider audience. This will be the Mission Radicale mailing list. I added another 50 names this morning of French church leaders to the list. Sometime this weekend I'll be sending Fonderie publicity to them.
As I was researching several French denominations on the Internet this morning, I was reminded again that I'm just part of the team of people that God is using in Paris and around France to be salt and light here. It was helpful to see the photos next to the names of pastors within one of these denominations.
This is turning out to be a very busy week. We're looking to spend several days in Normandy next week, so this has accelerated the work this week, as the Fonderie's next session starts on Thursday March 3. May God use the work of my eyes, fingers, and mind to inform people in France about ministry to artists through the Fonderie.
