Summer Is Here

We've had a scorching week of high temperature this week. Summer had definitely arrived.

Yesterday my wife set up a kiddie pool on our balcony. Our kids both loved it.

This week my work focus has been on the upcoming Mission Radicale youth conference in Normandy July 5-9. Number-wise, we're about the same as last year, but with lots of new people, including 11 from Toronto and 18 from Wheaton College.

We had problems with our dishwasher today. I ended up taking off most of the outside panels while looking for the reset button that I saw the mechanic hit when he repaired the machine several months ago. I don't think that I ever found it. For one of those rare times, I prayed in faith that God would intervene in the situation and either have me accidentally click on the button or somehow get it to work. After all, He is the master designer. To my delight, the machine started up afterwards.

We've got the open house for the baby swimmer class on Monday morning. That's our project for the next 48 hours.
