Wedding party of Jono and Claire

This afternoon we all went to the marriage celebration of Jono Bevan and Claire Serex. Due to some paper complications, they haven't been able to get officially married yet. But they and Claire's parents Jean-Claude and Isabelle had already planned a big party for today. It was a fun event, as wedding celebrations should be.

Grammy award winning singer Luther Vandross died yesterday or today at age 54. He is famous for the song "Here and Now," that my wife sang at our wedding. It's sad that his unique, deep, luscious voice isn't with us anymore.

Happy Birthday to my father, who turned 72 today. It was good to get to talk with him on the phone today. It sounds like things are going downhill with my mother's Alzheimers.
