Dinner guests and other neighborhood contacts

We've been using our raclette machine often the last 2 evenings. Last night we had supper with Neil (a friend from Boston) and Anne. Tonight we had supper with our across the hall neighbor Isra, who was invited last night, but couldn't make it.

This afternoon at the pool, one of our son's classmates greeted him by name. This was encouraging, as he and this girl had problems getting along earlier in the year. I talked to 2 mothers of students at our son's school. I finally feel that some connections at the school are happening now.

It has been encouraging to have some of the practical help that some of our neighbors have provided.
