New Neighborhood Contact at Swimming

Today has been full from start to finish. I had the weekly Belleville meeting this morning, followed by lunch with Sami, a fellow worker in Paris with another organizaton. He's also interested in arts ministry and emergent church, so it was stimulating conversation.

Had swim class with our son afterwards. Fortunately, even after a 2 week break, he hadn't forgotten any of the daring pool moves that he was trying befoe the break. He even went down both slides without any landing matt below. He also gets his face in the water without panicking.

Afterwards in the locker room, I got talking with a man whose son is in the class. I learned that his wife is an American from St. Louis. His name is Francois and he's French. His son is Luc. They live very close to us.
