Buenos dias amigos

Today, Toussaint ("All Saints Day"), is a national holiday in France. Many people have off today, although many stores are still open. I went to Auchan this morning and did my weekly grocery shop for us. I haven't seen this store so crowded since last Christmas.

Later this afternoon, after the kids napped, we went to les Buttes-Chaumont Park in our district. It's one of our favorite places.

We did the usual merry-go-round with our oldest 2 kids. While there, we ran into Rodrigue and his daugther Ciara, who were in the baby swim class 2004-5 and attended the end of the year party then at our apartment. We had lost track of them and I was guessing that they had moved back to Latin America. We also met his wie Gina for the first time.

I was frustrated about leaving later than I would have desired. However, God worked out behind the circumstances to ahve us bump into them. God workes even behind circumstances like lateness.
