Christmas Tree
Today we bought our Christmas tree at IKEA. It cost 18 euros, of which 17 euros will be given back to us in IKEA gift certificates in January when we return the tree. This is a tall and very full tree. We didn't expect it to be so wide around the base, so we had to trim it a little to fit into the corner space.
My wife and Anne did the bulk of the work putting lights on the tree. Our oldest two children enjoyed hanging ornaments on the tree. They tended to bunch 4-5 ornaments on the same branch, which was a method that I had never seen before.
Now it's time to turn off the tree lights and go to bed.
