Christianity Today article on France

Several days ago my father said that France was the cover story on the March 2005 issue of Christianity Today. I was finally able to download the article this evening. It is by Agnieszka Tannant and titled "The French Reconnection: Europe's most secular country rediscovers its Christian roots."

It is very encouraging to learn about some of the spiritual opportunities here. It also mentions some people (Steve Thrall, Andre Pownall, Jim Beise, etc.) whom we know, as well as some ministries like the Alpha Course, La Fonderie, and our church.

It concludes with these words: The 350,000 evangelicals--along with an unknown number of evangelically-minded Catholics, Reformed, and Lutherans--may not be many among France's 60 million inhabitants. But a little yeast may just be enough to leaven the whole baguette.
