Back from the hospital

After we got to the hospital, my wife had a couple of electronic things placed on her belly in order to check on how Baby E. was doing. We heard her heartbeat, which sounded healthy. The midwife and Dr. Wehbe agreed.

My wife is already dilated 2 centimeters (0.8 inches) and asked if the delivery could be launched (can't think of the exact English word for this). There were already 3 women in the process of giving birth, so they said that there wouldn't be room today. However, we were scheduled in for either tomorrow or Friday, unless the Baby E. started coming naturally today.

So, it is likely that she'll be born either on either February 2 or 3. I think it would be cool to have a 02/02 birthday. But we'll see.
