Baby name

It looks like Baby Girl will not arrive today, although we think that it will be tomorrow. My wife's body seems to giving signs that our newest daughter won't be delaying too much longer. Her father should arrive tomorrow morning. Hopefully, I'll be able to get him at the airport before needing to head into the maternity ward.

Some friends might be reading this blog from a link on our latest newsletter that we sent today. We gave the hints that the baby's first name begins with a vowel and is in the Bible. Here is another hint: the name begins with an.......E.

My wife's mom, who won't be making the trip, telephoned with the news that her mother (i.e., my wife's grandmother) had another small stroke in her home in Nebraska. Therefore, my mother-in-law is likely to be spending the next couple of days with her mother. While we were disappointed that she wouldn't be coming, the news of this stroke makes her decision to stay in the U.S. seem like the right one.

We got a huge help today from Anne, one of the interns at the Marais Church that I helped recruit. She should be able to help us weekly on Thursdays. We also are in the midst of working out the details of having a teenage friend named Becca come for the month of March to help. She's the daughter of MaryAnne (a childhood friend of mine) and Mark Lewis, who live in Michigan.
