New Vision Baptist Trip--1st day photos
The team of 15 members from New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee arrived yesterday morning in Paris. It took us 1 1/2 extra hours to find each other than was scheduled, as there were 2 suspect bags left in the terminal that needed to be destroyed. Once we found each other, the day went smoothly.
After taking a Paris Shuttle van to the hotel and dropping off bags, they took out money from an ATM and bought weekly travel passes, then traveled to our apartment. After getting out of the metro , we purchased Greek sandwiches and walked to our place. After a brief orientation, they traveled back to their hotel for a little rest. My wife, kids, and I met them at a subway station and traveled together to Metro Alma-Marceau to catch a Bateaux Mouches boat cruise. We then ate supper at Hippopatumus, then walked along the Champs-Elysees Avenue before taking the metro back home.
We already sense that they are a kind and generous group.
