Armistice Day

Yesterday (which only ended 35 minutes ago) was Armistice Day, a national holiday in France. While I didn't take the whole day off of work responsibilities, it was a lighter day. I had some personal and la fonderie e-mails to do, as well as sending some photos to one of our son's classmates.

We didn't go outside at all, but hung out as a family. At one point, all 3 kids were watching the animated film "Madagascar" and dancing up a storm, even the 15 month old.

I'm still wired about France's President-elect Nicolas Sarkozy. I wish I was as excited about any of the candidates for next year's U.S. Presidency.

I just finished watching a movie about Jews in Belleville who were persecuted during World WarII.
