Anniversaries
My wife reminded me that Wednesday November 1 was the 10 year anniversary of when we first met on in central France on a church retreat with St. Michael's Anglican Church. We were introduced by Scotsman Jim Scott during a coffee break on the weekend. Appropriately, my wife made hot chocolate for us to celebrate.
It's been quite a ride these last 10 years. My wife asked if I would have guessed 10 years ago how the next 10 years would have gone? No way! 3 kids? No way! Living in Paris. Possibly. Working with artists? Impossible! Life has had its twists and turns. But God has been faithful to me and my family in the midst of the twists and turns.
Thursday November 2 was the 9 month birthday of our youngest. Now she's been out of the womb for as long as she was in the womb.
It was cute watching yesterday morning our older 2 children's excited reactions when their baby sister came into their room for the first time. They all had big smiles on their face when they saw each other. While having a third child seems to have at least doubled the work that we had with just 2 kids, it's great to see them interrelate.
One new "baby" of Thursday was a new blog site for Le Pavé d'Orsay. It was good having the input of Kelley, an art major at Anderson University in Indiana who is doing a 2 month intership with La Fonderie. I'll list a link to the site after getting it spell checked by a French person.
