Gaining space at home
My wife and Anna have been working on the porch and the storage room that we affectionately call the "junk room." Anna varnished a set of pine shelves that we have set on our porch.
I rearranged the downstairs "cave" or storage area after the replacement of the waste hot water removal pipe was completed. I threw out a lot of old cardboard boxes that had gotten wet, so we have quite a bit more room than we had before. I place two of the boxes of clothes that our 10 month old has outgrown in the cave. We still have room for more boxes downstairs now.
We had a meeting with our son's teacher and school principal on Saturday morning. On the bright side, the principal has noted remarkable progress compared to last year in his overall behavior. However, she gave us a couple things to work on him with. The first is that we work on having him finish projects that he starts. The second is that he needs to learn when it is and is not appropriate to speak in class.
One fun thing we did last night was to see the Christmas lights at a couple of Paris' more famous stores. It was a lot of fun.
