Communication project

I just finished sending a mailing for la Fonderie to the final lists of contacts on my mailing list. Over the course of nearly 14 years in France, I've accumulated a good size list of contacts. Communication is a challenge for the Church in Paris, as there are different events going on, but it's hard to be aware of what this church or that ministry are preparing.

One goal of early 2007 has been to have all Fonderie mailings sent from the official Fonderie address. While I originally balked at this idea, it actually is easier in many ways to use the server that Jim chose, rather than an invented address under my account with a major e-mail and Internet server. I can send up to 100 in any one commmunication, rather than have to go groups of 50 or less and worry about getting flagged for doing a mass mail.

One challenge has been trying to remove the parenthesis in the overall mailing. It was tedious, but I finally finished this process. So future mailings will hopefully be much easier.

I'm also updating our MS Outlook program data.

Switching subjects, my wife and Jeanette did some major arranging of some of our kitchen. So far, it looks amazingly good and should be much more functional.

I accompanied my son to his gym class with his class this morning, then took him to another gymn this afteroon after school got out. He did really well on the trampoline and seems to really enjoy this class.

Got to get to bed, as I'm exhausted.
