Construction
It seems like our immediate neighborhood is a construction site.
The whole apartment building that we're in is being repaired (hoping to fill the cracks in the walls so that it won't eventually fall down. Both the front and back of our building have scaffolding. We've had to clear off our whole balcony in order for the workers to clean, paint and repair cracks. It's funny to look out our back window occasionally and see a worker outside the building.
The streets around us also seem to be under repairs too. It's quite an ordeal driving home after dropping off the kids at school.
Even our baby seems to be ünder construction as well. She's adding new teeth.
Construction is usually inconvenient when it happens. It's noisy and dirty. But it's important to have done as well, as the inconvenience is temporary, but the results are long-term.
So it is when God works in our lives. It's painful to have to move things moved around and challenged. But the results are worth it.
