3 Weeks Makes a Big Difference
This morning we went as a family to the baby swimmer class (cours bébé nageur) at our neighborhood pool. Both are kids get wound up to go even before we step out the door. Our 18 month old daughter often insists that my wife put her suit on her before we go.
It was amazing how much progress the kids seemed to have made, even after having not swum. Our 3 year old has grown taller, so he can walk on the bottom for part of the way. Our daughter enjoyed being on the carpet for the first time.
Sometimes it seems like they are taller in the morning than when we put them to bed. It's funny how kids grow even when they are resting. I wonder if God looks down at us when we're sleeping and smiles at the growth that is taking place. Sleep is part of our work, even though we aren't actively doing something. It's a step of trust to believe that God will work even when we're asleep. In the case of Adam, God had to put him to sleep in order to create Eve. Speaking of sleep, I need to do that now.
It's been a full day of working on our web site. I put on lots of new photos of Fonderie events of the last few days, as well as of our recent U.S. Home Ministry Assignment.
