Grandson's Love

It's been a full day of stuffing envelopes for the mailing. We watched "Johnny English" tonight while working.

It was beautiful this afternoon, so we took a long park break. I enjoyed seeing the kids interact with their grandparents.

Today my mother said to our 3 year old: "I love you." He looked her straight in the eyes and said, "I love you" right back. To our knowledge, this is the first time that he has said this to anyone.

I'm not sure what kind of state my mother will be in the next time that our kids see her, probably in the summer of 2006. However, I'm glad that she was able to hear this declaration of her grandson.
