French song based on Psalm 133.
This morning at our church (L'Eglise Réformée de Belleville in Paris), we had a guest worship group, led by Joël Andres. I have heard of him because of his part in the Paris-wide worship movement Paris en Feu (Paris on Fire). I sensed God's anointing on their leadership in worship, particularly in this song (which he wrote).
Qu'il est bon, agréable, pour les frères
Demeurer, tous unis, ensemble.
C'est comme une huile de grand prix répandue sur nous.
C'est alors que le Saint-Esprit souffle sur nos vies.
C'est alors que le Saint-Esprit agit et bénit.
My rough English translation of this song is as follows:
It is good and pleasing for brothers to abide together united.
It is like precious oil poured out on us.
This is how the Holy Spirit blows into our lives.
This is how the Holy Spirit works and blesses.
It was a good reminder of God's desire that His children get along. It seems that this pleases the Heavenly Father and he pours out extra blessings in places where there is unity. May God continue to do a work of bridge building between the members, families, congregations, and e of His large faimly
