La Fonderie--Session 3

Tonight was the best of the 3 Fonderie sessions in this current series. We must have had 45 or so people present, including a lot of first-timers. I was pleased to see the fruit of some of my e-publicity for special guest Gabriel Alonso, who is the founder and director of EDMF (Ecole des Ministères Francophones), a school of ministry for French-speaking leaders, based in England. He and his wife Andrea travel to many nations serving the Body of Christ through teaching, preaching, and music. He also is a music arranger, producer, and continues to work as a professional musician as part of his ministry. As a percussionist, he has played for Gloria Gaynor, Graham Kendrick, Chris Bowater, and EXO.

God blessed this evening despite several potential hiccups. Jim Beise was in the U.S. for the funeral of an uncle who died on Monday. Pierre DeKatow filled in very well in Jim's place. We normally use small tables, but Jim forgot to leave the key to unlock the chain holding them, so we couldn't use them. But it worked out anyway to just have chairs in groups of 3-5 (as it was in the old days of the Fonderie, according to Pierre).
