Togo party

This morning we had a Togo party at home. No this, isn't the toga party made famous by the film "Animal House." Rather, it was the visit of our friends Sena and Jane Ounate-Lare and their children Joshua, Elouise, and Johann.

We first met them during a church weekend retreat in September 2000. Back then, neither of us had any children. Like us, they now have 3 kids. For the past nearly 3 years, they have lived and work in northern Togo in west Africa. They just arrived in Europe to spend 3 months here, then will return to their work with churches in Togo.

It was good to see them again, although it was hard to talk in depth with all the kids running around.
