Jet lag

It's 4:00 a.m. Paris time and I'm finally getting sleepy. It's been a productive night, especially since everyone else went to sleep by midnight or even earlier. It wasn't this way last night, as the older 2 kids didn't go to sleep until after 3:00 a.m. here, as this was only 9:00 p.m. Michigan time. Nearly everyone but me woke up at noon today.

There's always a lot to catch up on after a 2 month trip away. There's going through mail and sorting and filing bills and other things. There's cleaning up. There's reconnecting with people whom we haven't seen in a couple of months.

Tonight had the first episode of the 6th season of "Star Academy. It's enjoyable to watch again and is a good reminder that school is just around the corner.
