Tragic boat cruise on Lake George

Trenton, Michigan, the city where I was raised, made national news today. It's a small city of around 20,000 people located 20 miles south of Detroit.

Sadly, the news was not good. 47 senior citizens from Michigan were on a color tour of New England. Part of this was a boat tour on Lake George in New York. The boat capsized and 20 people died, 3 of whom were from Trenton.

This story was even shown on our French news tonight.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the loved ones of the deceased, as well as with those who survived the accident. We pray for wisdom for our friends from First Presbyterian Church of Trenton and that they will bring comfort and hope to this situation.
