Bunk beds

Many of my thoughts are around the riots in France during these past 11 days. However, despite living a period that may eventually make history books here, I still need to get on with other details of life.

One of these is getting ready for the arrival of our 3rd child in late January or early February. After talking about it for several months, we finally set up bunk beds today. We bought it at IKEA 3 weeks ago and it was finally delivered last week in 2 large boxes. Today, my day off, focused upon putting the beds together. It was like doing a jigsaw puzzle. It wasn't the most exciting of projects (at least for me), but something that needed to get done and happened.

It is great to hear that God has protected you and the family so far. Will continue to pray for you! Our God is a strong refuge, a stronghold in times of trouble. i am sorry for France, and also I sometimes wonder how long it will be before all Western societies errupt like this - have any truly, deeply reached out to and impacted the untouchables we have? Thanks be to God that He is fully in control and knows all. He is deeply merciful and just.
