Sleeping beauties
It was a late night due to the first session of la Fonderie and I'll write about that later. I woke up feeling rested at 5:30 a.m. and have spent the last couple of hours catching up on e-mails. We got so many congradulatory ones after Elizabeth's birth over a month ago that we haven't even ready them all yet. Before our server automatically deletes them, we need to read them in the next couple of days.
Our son awoke around 7:00 a.m. After laying on the sofa drinking milk, he's now watchng cartoons in the living room where I type this. But the 4 women under my roof are currently sleeping. My wife and Baby Liz are sleeping in our bedroom cuddled together. Our 2 year old is sleeping in the bottom bunk of the children's room. Becca (a 16 year old from Michigan who arrived yesterday to help for a month) is sleeping on an air mattress in the office next to the living room.
So, we've got people dispersed all over the apartment. It's not at all neat, with toys and books spread all over the floor. Thanks to our friend Anne's help yesterday, the apartment is neater than it was however.
It's temporarily quiet, but that will end soon.
But there's lots of growth, activity, learning, and laughter taking place within the walls of this apartment. That in itself is priceless and a gift from God.
